4º ESO (writing, listening and Kahoot instructions)

Opinion essay instructions

The opinion essay is one of the most popular and useful types of texts that we can write on our daily basis. These texts express our views and thoughts about the world and can be found on the internet (forums, websites, blogs...), in the press (newspapers, magazines...) and so on, but they are a really common kind of composition you will need to face if you take your Selectividad exam in two years.
It normally consists of three paragraphs:
Paragraph 1 - Introduction of the topic + short presentation of your opinion
Paragraph 2 - Examples that justify and support your opinion
Paragraph 3 - Summary of the opinion + conclusion
Download the PDF document where you can find some sentences you can introduce in your composition and the example in your students' book. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PrkFVXnnHHorw7jEw79ffTLsBQPbDpAS/view?usp=sharing

Send your compositions before Monday, 23rd March. This time, they cannot be sent as an attached document, so copy or write the text straight on Aules. As usual, it should contain from 80 to 120 words. This time, there will be a 180-word limit.

Unit 6 Presentation: Kahoot Challenge
Dear students:
Next week we are going to start unit 6: Saving our planet.
In this unit, we are going to practice forming indirect sentences (Reported Speech), as well as learning vocabulary about the environment and recycling. To see how good you are already at these contents, I have organised a Kahoot challenge so that you can play from your homes but still compete with your classmates.
Go to the Kahoot website (link below) and introduce your class competition code:
0827895 4ESOA
0336230 4ESOB
0175913 4ESOC
Don't choose naughty/strange nicknames. Your nicknames must be your name and the first letter of your surnames (e.g. Lucía Martínez Córdoba = LucíaMC). You can play as many times as you want before Monday, 23rd March at 10 am. I will keep a record of who participated in the challenge and who didn't and only the students who followed these instructions will get a positive record.
Good luck everyone!
